9mm Luger; 95% blue, 70% straw, fair bore, good grips, 6'' barrel, One of 30 or less examples with Uruguayan provenance. This pistol is featured in the book "The Borchardt & Luger Automatic Pistols" by Joachim Gortz and Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess on pages 892, 900 and 901, and was part of Dr. Sturgess's collection. Original blue finish, strawed small parts and matching number checkered walnut grips. The numbered parts are matching, marked in the commercial fashion. Complete with an unmarked wood bottom magazine. And includes the matching number walnut shoulder stock. The top of the toggle is stamped with the DWM monogram. Commercial crown/BUG proofs appear on the bottom of the barrel, crown/BU proofs appear on the left side of the receiver, breechbolt and toggle. Unaltered safety with GESICHERT marking in the lower position. Rig, includes the stock with attached original leather holster, shoulder straps, takedown tool and cleaning rod with oiler handle. Condition: Near excellent. The original blue finish shows just a touch of fading, with sharp edge and fairly light high point holster wear. There is some scattered minor surface spotting, mainly on the grip frame. The straw color on the small parts is weakening with some dark spotting. The grip panels have a few small dings and handling marks. Mechanically fine. The bore shows some wear to the rifling and light corrosion throughout. The stock is fine, the attaching iron retaining approximately 85% blue and the locking lever 30% straw color. The holster and straps shows age wear and scuffing. The pull strap inside the holster is torn. C&R/FFL, s/n 368xx, Catalog Number NA-26
