| 30 Luger; 96% blue, 75% straw, excellent bore, very good grips, 4.75'' barrel, Scarce early DWM-Mauser assembled 'v' range transitional 1906 Swiss pattern Luger pistol. Stoeger type frame. Early Oberndorf production using DWM acquired parts. At this time Mauser was experimenting with heat treatments and finishes on metal parts. Numbered parts are matching. Swiss Cross in Sunburst on top of the chamber. DWM monogram on top of the center toggle. Swiss Berner Probe proofed barrel. Magazine is unmarked, nickeled sheet steel variation with aluminum base. Metal finish shows some high point and sharp edge wear. Bore is bright and sharp., s/n 5xxv, Catalog Number SW-86 |
