THE CHAMBER DATE IS 1917 AND THESE WERE MADE UP AFTER THE WAR BY FITTING CARBINE BARRELS FOR COMMERCIAL SALES. THE BLUING SHOWS HIGH EDGE WEAR ALONG WITH SOME LIGHT OXIDATION ON THE GRIP STRAPS. THE BORE IS BRIGHT WITH VERY GOOD RIFLING. THE GRIPS SHOW HEAVY WEAR. THE CARBINE BARREL IS MARKED GERMANY ON THE UNDERSIDE. COMES WITH A RENUMBERED MISMATCHED ALUMINUM BASED MAGAZINE. ALL VISIBLE NUMBERS ARE MATCHING EXCEPT FOR THE MAGAZINE., s/n 47xxd, Catalog Number AR-24 |
