| 30 Luger; 80% blue, 30% straw, fair bore, good grips, 3.75'' barrel, Original blue finish, strawed small parts and checkered beechwood grips. The numbered parts are matching except the replacement un-numbered barrel and military numbered magazine. This gun is an example of a military surplus pistol which was rebarreled and had the chamber date removed to sell commercially after World War One. The parts are numbered in the mililtary fashion and the gun retains the Imperial proofs on the right side of the receiver, however there is no military acceptance mark. The left side of the breechbolt does retain a military acceptance mark. GERMANY stamped on the left side rail. The top of the toggle is stamped with the DWM logo. The metal finish shows edge and high point holstering wear, with small areas of thinning. The grip straps have worn mostly bright. The grips show light wear and handling. Mechanically fine, the bore shows wear and heavy frost in the grooves. C&R/FFL, s/n 64xxi, Catalog Number D-193 |
