| 30 CAL LUGER; 94% blue, 75% straw, excellent bore, very good grips, 3.75'' barrel, Original blued finish, strawed small parts and matching serial number checkered beechwood grips. Numbered parts including the magazine are all matching and numbered in the military style, exception the firing pin which is mis-matched. DWM monogram on top of center toggle. The top of the chamber appears to have been ground and refinished, removing a possible date. The right side of the receiver is stamped with a German "Su/25" rework proof. The barrel is matching, however there appears to be a faded suffix under the number and some finished over minor pitting. This pistol was brought in from Finland and is possibly a Luger sold to Finland in the 1920's and issued at the M/23. The metal finish is showing some sharp edge wear and some high point wear from holstering. Slight thinning of finish on the grip frame straps. Our import mark. Rig, includes an original Finnish issue holster which is in excellent condition with a brass cleaning rod and the additional matching serial number magazine. The front upper edge of the holster has been cut down for better access, likely done in the field. And, an original private purchase belt rig complete with shoulder strap in excellent condition. The tip of the belt is stamped with the makers mark RAUMA with the standing bear logo., s/n 7xxc, Catalog Number D-730 |
