| fair bore, good grips, 7.5'' barrel, 2nd Model, 1st type variation. Octagonal barrel marked on top "E. WHITNEY / N. HAVEN". Unmarked otherwise. Faint roll markings on the cylinder. Brass trigger guard. Two piece plain walnut grips. Both marked internally with the number "W/1360". Key nut on left side of the frame. Metal is grey with some brown spotting. Grips show varnish finish wear with small nicks around the lower edges. Mechanically fine. Antique. |
