| 303 British; 80% blue, good bore, good stock, 30'' barrel, ENFIELD MK 1* RIFLE MADE AT BSA (BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS) IN 1896 IN ANTIQUE EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE BLUING HAS TURNED PATINA OVERALL. THE BORE IS BRIGHT WITH LIGHTLY WORN BUT STILL GOOD RIFLING ALONG WITH LIGHT OXIDATION PRESENT. THE BUTTSTOCK AND FOREND ARE SOLID BUT MISSING THE HANDGUARD AND SHOWS NUMEROUS DINGS, SCRATCHES AND COMPRESSION DENTS. THE RECEIVER BRIDGE HAS THE "SOLD OUT OF SERVICE" STAMP. THE LEFT FOREND RETAINS ITS FRONT VOLLEY SIGHT BUT THE REAR ONE HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A PARKER HALE MICROMETER APERATURE SIGHT FOR COMPETITION., s/n 23xx |
