| 577-450 Martini-; 93% blue, very good+ bore, very good+ stock, 32'' barrel, Manufactured in 1888, this Enfield Martini-Henry .577-.450 caliber rifle has the long lever. The front sight is a ramped blade, the rear is an elevation adjustable ladder style. The receiver on the right side has CROWN / V.R. / ENFIELD/ 1888 / IV/1. Finish has mild scattered patina. Right side of the stock has several British and Persian cartouches and markings. Bore is bright with dark grooves. Bayonet in marked, CROWN / 89 WILKINSON SWODE COMPANY / LONDON, with a Persian marked guard. Guard and scabbard have browned with mild patina. Leather scabbard is also Persian marked with patina chape and throat fitting. Cleaning rod is present. ANTIQUE., s/n D29xx |
