| 44 cal; good bore, very good grips, 5 3/16'' barrel, The caliber is approximate. Smoothbored. Bright finished metal likely has been cleaned at some point. Damascus octagonal barrel is marked "London' on the top. One side of the frame is marked 'London' and the other is marked 'E.EGG'. There is a Belgian proof on the left side of the frame and a tiny proof on the edge of the left grip frame. Fancy burl walnut grip handle. The action works well. There is some scattered very minor pitting with some heavier pitting around the nipple area. The nipple is damaged from dry fire., |
