| 44 BP; 85% blue, very good bore, fair stock, 22'' barrel, EVANS REPEATING RIFLE CO. LEVER ACTION CARBINE This is one of 4,000 carbines manufactured by Evans Repeating Rifle Co. from 1877-1879. The top of the barrel is marked "EVANS REPEATING RIFLE MECHANIC FALLS, ME. PAT. DEC. 8, 1868 & SEPT. 16, 1871, It has a small blade front sight on a thick base, standard notch and folding ladder rear sight. The walnut forearm is in very good condition. The buttstock has a 2 in crack on the point of the top stock. It has brown leather sling. The buttstock has a weathered look.
