| 16 Gauge; 75% blue, very good bore, fair stock, 27 5/8'' barrel, Manufactured in Belgium from 1910 to the beginning of WW2. Original blue finish, mounted in checkered walnut. 2 9/16 inch chambers with Modified and Improved Modified chokes. Features a boxlock action with a Greener style crossbolt, extractor, double triggers, Anson style push button release forearm and a fuyll grip stock with a 14.25 inch LOP. The stock is fitted with the original bone buttplate. A custom brass plate has been attached to the bottom of the grip with an engraved H. The metal finish shows wear and handling. The left barrel has a minor dent on the side about 4.5 inches from the muzzle. The wood shows wear and handling with worn checkering. The stock has a screw with ferrule run through the flats behind the frame and a pin on the left side wrist. There is a 1 inch hairline crack beind the upper tang, and on the right side flat, along with a chip of missing wood on the right upper corner behind the frame. The stock is a bit loose and may need some attention. Mechanically fine with tight lockup. C&R/FFL, s/n 49xx |
