THESE WERE MANUFACTURED BY FEG IN HUNGARY AND AFTER THE GERMAN TAKEOVER WERE DESIGNATED THE G98/40 AND PRESSED INTO SERVICE. THE ORIGINAL BLUING IS VERY GOOD SHOWING LIGHT WEAR. ALONG WITH THE MATCHING NUMBERS THERE ARE WAFFENNAMPTS EVERYWHERE. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH A MODERATELY WORN BUT STILL GOOD RIFLING. THE WALNUT FURNITURE IS NICELY GRAINED SHOWING NUMEROUS DINGS, SCRATCHES AND COMPRESSION DENTS. COMES WITH A SLING AND MUZZLE CAP AND BEARS OUR IMPORT MARK., s/n 61xx |
