| Finnish issue holster for the Luger P.08 and M/23 9mm and 30 caliber pistols. Original brown leather. Edge of the flap has a fading OULU raindeer logo stamp. This holster is in overall good serviceable condition, it has seen some action and use. Magazine pouch on the leading edge contains an original Luger pistol magazine with an Army depot number and small proof stamped on the base "9225". Under the flap is stamped with a non-matching number "3247". Cleaning rod pouch on the leading edge beside the magazine pouch. Takedown tool pouch under the flap contains an original unmarked tool. Inside the holster is a leather shoulder strap, possibly used as a pistol lanyard. The reverse side of the holster has some modification, the original two loops removed, and two slits cut into the back for use at one point for belt attaching. A large horizontal loop added at a later point for sliding a shoulder stock thru, with a wide cuff for belt attaching. The internal lifting strap has been removed. Steel buckle flap closure. |
