| 9X19 MM; 98% blue, very good bore, 4 5/8'' barrel, FN HIGH POWER WITH AN "A" ALLEMAND PREFIX SERIAL NUMBERS. THESE WERE THE FIRST HPs MADE AFTER THE ALLIES LIBERATED FN. SOME EARLY ONES USED GERMAN PARTS. THE "A" PREFIX PISTOLS WERE CONSIDERABLY BETTER POLISHED AND FINISHED THAN THE EARLIEST SEPT 1944 EXAMPLES. THIS EXAMPLE IS A SOMEWHAT LATER GUN WITH NO GERMAN MARKED PARTS. THE BLUING IS EVEN THROUGHOUT SHOWING A FEW SUPER LIGHT SCRATCHES ON THE LEFT SLIDE.
