| 30-06 Springfield; 98% blue, excellent bore, very good+ stock, 24'' barrel, Manufactured in Belgium c.1947-1963. Commercial 98 Mauser action. Original blued finish, checkered walnut pistol grip stock with cheekrest. Original FN serrated horn buttplate. Round barrel with matted ramp fixed front sight, hood attached. No provision for rear barrel sight. Drilled and tapped receiver with a Buehler one piece steel base with twist off steel 1" rings. Leupold M8 4X scope mounted. Duplex reticle with clear optics. The right side of the receiver bridge has been drilled and tapped for a Lyman 48M rear fully adjustable aperture sight, with the stock cut out for the sight when installed. Wood filler used to fill the slot of the elevation bar. The Lyman sight with mounting screw is included and is in excellent condition. Low scope safety on the matching bolt. Bore is bright and strong. Buttplate has a bit of insect damage at the toe. Also includes an extra set of steel 1" scope rings., s/n 389xx |
