| 8mm Lebel; 75% blue, Poor bore, Good stock, 31.5'' barrel, FRENCH BERTHIER MLE 1907-15 INFANTRY RIFLE IN 8MM LEBEL CALIBER. THE FINISH IS GOOD ON THE RECEIVER AND TRIGGER GUARD BUT THINNING EVERYWHERE ELSE. THIS WAS ONE OF THE MAIN FRENCH INFANTRY RIFLES DURING WWI AND TOOK A 3 ROUND CLIP. THE STOCK HAS A 1" REPAIR IN THE LEFT FOREARM AREA. THE STOCK HAS NUMEROUS DINGS AND HANDLING MARKS AND WAS SHELLACKED. THE BORE IS HEAVILY CORRODED., s/n 562xx |
