| 22 CAL; 80% blue, good bore, very good stock, 24'' barrel, Frank Wesson .22 Cal rifle, open hammer, single shot, serial number 300, barrel length 24", overall length 38 1/2", two triggers, octagon barrel, the gun fired a single round through a two-trigger arrangement - the fore trigger managing the break-action and the aft trigger used for firing the gun. The overall metal finish is fading and has scattered spotting. The top of the barrel has FRANK WESSON WORCHESTER MASS. / Oct 25, 1859 & Nov. 11, 1862, Patent dates. The front sight is a blade, and the rear is a fixed V notch. The buttstock is in very good condition, with numerous small handling marks. The action works well. ANTIQUE, s/n 3xx |
