| 16 Gauge; 70% blue, good bore, poor stock, 27.5'' barrel, Pre-war manufacture, made in France. Blued steel barrels with 2 9/16" chambers, Full/Modified chokes. Concave sunken matted rib with silver bead. Double underlugs, extractor. Barrels stamped on the bottoms "St. Etienne". Casehardened action with double triggers. Checkered walnut stock, broken around the wrist. Serrated hjorn buttplate. Matching numbers. Forend has had filing work on the top of the plate, and the plate may have been rewelded. The action does not cock on opening, the forend slides forward when the gun is broke open a bit. As is, needing action and stock work., s/n 5xx |
