| 71 Cal; poor bore, poor stock, 23 7/8'' barrel, De Tulle manufacture, barrel stamped with an 1858 date and French proofing. Shortened to length with two barrel bands retained. The stock has been shortened as well with upper section cut and refitted. Front sight blade brazed on, no rear sight. Patina metal. The wood has been sanded and refinished, small cracks behind the backlock plate and upper tang. Ramrod is a replacement. The lock functions fine. Antique, |
