| 11mm; 40% blue, excellent bore, very good+ stock, 32'' barrel, The barrel on this original configuration rifle is marked on barrel with, βMEβ, on right flat, β S1871β, on right diagonal, βP.Gβ, and an encircled, B and J. the left diagonal, s/n on left flat. The left side of receiver is marked, βS? Etienne, MLE 1866β. The barrel, receiver and bold have matching s/n, the stock is marked, βP 82691β on left butt, and, βH BARRAILLERβ, on bottom of wrist. The barrel goes from a rich plum to near white on receiver. The furniture has minimal nicks, dings, and compression dents. The bore is bright. ANTIQUE., s/n M98xx |
