| 8mm Lebel; Mfd by Manufacture Nationale d'Armes de Chtellerault in 1934. Right side of receiver marked, MAC 1934, left side with, MM with circled C and M/D78490, Chtellerault (in script) MLE 1892 MD. Matching numbers except for the bayonet. The stock has several repairs, including a plug with s/n stamped onto it. Overall the metal has lost its blue and the furniture along with the repairs has several cracks, nicks and dings. Bore is mostly bright with strong rifling., |
