| Description: |
| 36 Pinfire; fair bore, good grips, 3 7/8'' barrel, Marked on the bottom of the frame (little hard to read so I'm taking a shot here) "JAVELLE.M. ST. ETIENNE". Double action with 6-shot cylinder. Octagonal barrel with fixed front sight. Metal has turned an even grey patina with light spotting overall. Dark stained one piece walnut grip. Heavily halmarked proof on the cylinder. For loading, there is a lever under the barrel which swings to the side, unlocking the barrel assembly so it pivots downward, allowing the cylinder to be pulled forward and off. The action functions well and the barrel locks in position snug., |
