| 14mm; good bore, good stock, 37 5/16'' barrel, Metal in the white, mounted in a walnut stock which has a varnish finish applied. This gun is unmarked except for "D&W" which is stamped on the forward lockplate, bottom of the trigger guard tang and end of the buttplate tang. Deep rifled barrel. Hinged breech with large lever and needle firing pin. Original ramrod present. A screw with broken head has been run into the forward comb of the stock. Firing appears to be from the hammer hitting the top of the hinged block, the strike causing the firing pin to release internally. Several scuffs and scratches to the varnish finish on the wood.
