| 16 Ga/6.5 x 57R; 85% blue, very good bore, good stock, 23 5/8'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany, dated September 1961. Original blue finish barrels, Polished frame with game scene engraving. Mounted in skip checkered walnut, stock with full grip and cheekrest, the original plastic buttplate present. Plastic trigger guard. Solid matted rib shotgun barrel with fixed front and two position flip rear sight. Double claw mounts with a Hensoldt Wetzlar Diatal 4x32 scope attached, with pointer/crosshair reticle having excellent optics. Boxlock action, extractor, double triggers, side mounted cocking indicators on the stock flats behind the frame. Latch release forend. The finish on the barrels shows some wear and handling. The stock shows wear and handling as well, with a chip of wood missing on the bottom edge of the cheekrest. The trigger guard is missing a small screw on the back and the front screw is stripped. Mechanically fine with tight barrel lockup. The shotgun bore is excellent, the rifle bore is dark with strong rifling. C&R/FFL, s/n 431xx |
