| 8mm Mauser; fair bore, poor stock, 21.5'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany circa 1920s. Small ring Kar98 Mauser action. Worn original finish, plain walnut stock. Non-matching proper variation bolt. Ramped fixed front sight. Drift adjustable rear sight, standing leaf, missing a folding leaf. Receiver has been drilled and tapped with a complete side mount, a BC Miroku 2.5x32 scope is mounted. The scope has a pointer/crosshair reticle with excellent optics. Used, worn metal finish. The stock is broken on the right side of the wrist/grip area wrapped in duct tape. Also an old crack on the left side in front of the scope mount base. Missing the lower sling swivel, upper swivel missing the screw, held with wire. The bore is worn with darkness and corrosion in the grooves. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 31xx |
