| Manufacture by Paul Weyersberg of Solingen. The blade rates excellent with acceptable drag marks from scabbard insertion, near perfect tip. The etched makers logo is rather light. Tiny nicks can be felt along one edge for an inch or two but are not very visible. Braided wire wrapped orange handle is in very good condition, no chipping and the wire is snug. Aluminum burnished oak leaf engraved fittings are very fine with the usual tarnishing. Pebbled leather buffer inside the guard is intact. The pebbled scabbard is in good overall condition, some tarnishing, tip has minor dents. Also a dent on each side. |
