| 95% blue, excellent grips, Rare matching K98 Bayonet bayonet, manufactured by Elite-Diamant in 1939 Diamant was a bicycle producer. This is a number matching bayonet and scabbard. The top of the blade is stamped 39 for 1939, and the obverse side of the blade Elite Diamant and the reverse has 2260E. The scabbard also is stamped with 2260E. The metal finish on the bayonet is in very good condition. The pommel has two Eagle / 218 Insp Proofs. The grips are in very good condition with the left grip having a small chip. The scabbard has a worn finish with mild thinning. The reverse has a nickel size dent that pierced the metal. The black leather frog finish has creasing and mild wear. The reverse has a very faint makers mark, the frog remains very serviceable condition. Bayonets by Diamant are extremely scarce and highly sought after., s/n 22xxE |
