| 8mm Mauser; 90% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manufactured in Austria by Steyr for issue to the Luftwaffe. Original blue finish and walnut stock. All numbered parts are matching including the trigger guard screws. Stamped on top of the receiver ring with the Steyr code 660 and date 1939. Eagle/WaA623 proofs on the receiver, wood and small parts. Luftwaffe eagle/L on the right side of the stock. All markings are crisp and clear including on the wood. The metal finish shows thinning mainly out on the barrel and upper band. The wood has some dings and scratches. Original leather sling attached. Mechanically fine. The bore is bright and clean with strong rifling. C&R/FFL, s/n 92xxa |
