| 12 Gauge; 70% blue, very good bore, fair stock, 26.75'' barrel, Pre-War manufacture by J.P. Sauer, dated September 1935. 2 1/2 inch chambers with both chokes gauging Modified. The barrels have been shortened to length. Blue finish barrels, casehardened silver finished frame and mounted in checkered walnut. Features matted solid rib barrels, crossbolt, double triggers, extractors, latch release forearm and a full grip stock. The barrels show finish wear and thinning with some minor spotting. Ivory front sight bead installed. The frame has only traces of silver finish, being mostly a gray patina overall. The wood shows wear to the checkering and the stock has several repairs with some amatuer hand carving on the right side. A modern vented pad has been crudely added to the stock. Mechanically the gun needs work. Both barrels fire at the same time and barrel lockup has a bit of up and down play. SOLD AS IS for parts or repair., s/n 2718xx |
