| 8mm Mauser; fair bore, good stock, 29'' barrel, DWM 1915 manufacture. Metal finish has worn and turned patina, bright receiver with dark spotting. Mounted in a replacement walnut stock from a Brazilian M1908 Mauser rifle. Original non-matching cleaning rod. Matching: bolt body, trigger guard and barrel have cancelled numbers with the matching number added, both bands, floorplate. Remainder of parts are non-matching. The bands do not fit the stock. Metal shows wear with some pitting and surface rusting. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling and a tight muzzle, dark with rust throughout. There is a bulge in the barrel less than 1 inch from the muzzle. No import markings found. C&R/FFL, s/n 92xxr |
