| This is a rare leather case for two Lugers. Marked on lid, D.F.F-S. over 6TH INNISKILLING DRAGOONS. Includes key and two outer straps. Very good condition with mild handling/storage. We would like to thank one of our kind customers for the following information which states the case was "the property of Major Denman Freer Freer-Smith (19 Sep 1892-05 May 1952). Freer-Smith was commissioned a 2LT in the 6th (Inniskilling) Dragoons on 09 Sep 1911, and advanced to 1LT on 26 Feb 1913. He received a substantive promotion to CPT on 18 Feb 1920, and a brevet promotion to MAJ (Reserves) on 01 Sep 1939, prior to his retirement from the 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards on 23 Sept 1931."
