| The dagger features a 12-inch bright steel blade, marked, E&F HORSTER, on blade. Dark blue leather buffer is intact. The alloy cross guard featured a round, sun wheel, type swastika, flanked by down swept, stylized wings. The pommel was in the form of a vertical disc, with another, larger sun wheel swastika. The handle is constructed of dark brown leather with bands of silver wire wrap. Painted surfaces are mostly gone. Steel scabbard wrapped in dark brown leather has alloy fittings with an alloy chain and GES. LESCH / OLC alloy spring clip. All mounting screws are present. Edge of leather has worn through exposing mild patina. |
