| Original WW2 era helmet, painted sand externally and along the insides of the flanges up to the liner. The external has applied green splater camo, with some lighter green color showing underneath. The size marking on the left inside flange is a bit hard to make out due to the thickness of the paint, but appears to be ET62. The back inside of the flange is stamped 2826. Original tan leather sweat band, ink stamped 54 complete with the original sinching string. Original chin strap attached, marked only with the date 40 on the end, no maker marking seen. Overall very good condition, having some scrapes and light scratches externally and a few small chips in the green applied paint splater. |
