| 16 Gauge; fair bore, good stock, 22.75'' barrel, Converted in Belgium to a bolt action shotgun. New barrel installed. Mounted in a birdseye maple stock. Non-matching bolt, 1875 dated receiver which retains the German Imperial proofing. The stock has a copper band tacked into place over the grip with a plastic insert screwed into place behind the reciever tang. Fixed sight isntalled on top of the receiver. Mechanically okay except the cocking piece wants to turn out at times when the bolt is extracted. Trigger guard has been painted black. Bolt handle turned down. Antique, s/n 82xx |
