| 25 ACP; 70% blue, good bore, fair grips, 2'' barrel, Manufactured between 1920 - 1927 Here we present a German August Menz "Liliput" Model 1925 Model 1 Pistol, manufactured between 1925 to 1927 by Waffenfabrik August Menz in Suhl, Germany chambered in 6.35mm. According to an Allied report by then Staff Sergeant Jørgen Melchior who was in the CIC (Counterintelligence Corps of the US Army), a Liliput pistol was issued to members of the Werewolf resistance force.. The front sight is a blade, and the rear is a grooved slot. The left slide is stamped LILIPUT KAL 6.35 / MODELL 1925 and the left side of the frame has a Crown / N and the trigger guard has the S/N 11625. The metal finish has muzzle and high edge wear and considerable thinning, and some dark spotting. The checkered grips have a medallion on each panel, the right grip is missing a large piece of the grip., s/n 116xx |
