| Originally a P.38 soft shell leather holster, converted to a shoulder holster. This appears to be a field done alteration by either a German soldier or capturing G.I. Marked on the back with a bla code over 1944 with an eagle/WaA159 proof. The light duty web straps used for the rig are of unknown origin, having an illegible ink stamp on one strap. Also a name hand written in ink on one strap which has been crossed out, now fading with the name visible "O'NEIL". The magazine pouch originally on the front has been removed, as well as the original breakaway flap that would have been on the holster, the flap and its stud closure and the belt loops on the back. Overall in Good complete condition as modified. |
