| Here's Pre-War example of a hunting dagger. The 16-inch blade is a triple acid etched example. The blade has no makers. mark. The etch is nice and clear light having highly detailed panels depicting hunting scenes. There is no sharpening, and the blade is very clean. The factory felt buffer is intact. The blade rates very good+. The scabbard has fine black leather with 99% coverage. It depicts two decorative lines running the length of the scabbard on both sides. All the stitching remains intact. Both matching brass fittings have scalloped edges. The staples are still intact. The clamshell has good detail as do the hooves design crossguard. The pommel has the tang correctly peened through it. The grip is stag with nice bass acorns., |
