RICASSO: Etched "AXT-UND HAUERFABRIK SOLINGER, HORSE HEAD". CROSS GUARD: Dull nickel, misc. dents, scratches. HANDLE: Wood- Brown misc. dents, scratches, EAGLE INSIGNIA: Good detail, heavy tarnish. "SA" ROUNDEL: Light brown enamel, with nickel highlights, tan tarnish/coating. POMMEL: Dull nickel, misc. dents, scratches. POMMEL NUT: Dull nickel, HEX EDGES: No rounding, ROUND CAP: Tool marks (looks like pliers). Scabbard: NSKK. Throat fitting- Dull Nickel, misc. dents, scratches, has one steel replacement hardware screw, the other screw is magnetic but just barely.
