| No legible maker marks or codes, the guard is stamped for the SA Gruppe Westfalen "Wf" on the guard. The slogan "All for Germany" etched on one side of the blade is fully legible however the blade has been cleaned on and the edges sharpened. The tip slightly rounded. Aluminum guard and pommel have been polished bright. The handle is fair, has been varnished, which is wearing off. There is a crack on one side at the pommel, and a chip on the other side above the SA button. The scabbard has had a coat of varnish applied over the anodized body, most of which is wearing off leaving a faded finish underneath. Fittings have small dings and dents and the ball tip is dented and bent to one side. The attached clasp is not original. |
