| This SA Dagger has a maker's mark on the blade (RMZ / M 7/68 / 1941) Tigerwerk Lauterjung & Co. Solingen. The acid etched blade has "Alles fur Deutschland" motto. The steel based, brown anodized and period scabbard is excellent. It is completely dent free and retains an excellent heavy lacquer paint. The solid nickel fittings look great. The ball and all the screws remain intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is good. The brown hardwood grip is excellent. The detailed solid nickel eagle is excellent. The hanger snap has a maker's mark. A DRGM / RMZ M5/8. Overall, this is a great piece. |
