| Original WW2 issue with 90% plus original paint and 95% luft eagle decal. Complete original liner assembly and leather chin strap in very good condition. Size marking "Q64", lot number marking "6481". Visible ink stamping inside top. This helmet was shipped home by the capturing GI, medical tape used to write the address and to cover the luft eagle decal on the left side. An additional piece of medical tape is applied under the rim with information "France Aug 5 1944" with the GI's name and serial number. The helmet has minimal loss of the paint, showing scratches and scuffing from handling., |
