| 8x57mm; very good bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Original thinned phosphate finish with a few blued small parts. Laminated wood stock and handguard, un-numbered, cupped buttplate. Numbered parts are matching to include the complete bolt. Stamped welded upper and lower bands. Stamped trigger guard and floorplate, both marked with the qnw code. Follower marked with an lxr code. The top of the receiver ring is stamped with the Gustloff code "bcd" and date code "4". Eagle/swatika military acceptance marks stamped on the left side of the barrel and top of the receiver ring. The right side of the receiver ring is stamped with eagle/1 and 1 proofs. Original 12" cleaning rod and front sight hood. The phosphate finish on the metal has some dark spotting. Wood appears to have been lightly sanded and varnished at some point. No import marks. Bore has shine and strong rifling., s/n 65xx |
