| Manufactured in Sweden circa 1880s. We know very little about these guns, although we have imported several from Sweden over the last few years. And know of no publications on these guns. There were variations, iron frame, brass frame, various types of finishes. Most are plain, some have had low levels of engraving, and various types of wood used for stocking up. These guns all appear to be handmade, with parts not usually interchangeable, and were evidently made to be inexpensive utility grade guns. This example has a browned twist finished barrel for the appearance of damascus, nickel plated brass frame, and birchwood stock. The nickel plating is wearing off part of the frame. The action is not functioning, the hammer will not hold back. Barrel lockup is fine with no play. Dark rusty bore. SOLD AS IS needing action work. Antique |
