| 8X56R; 70% blue, fair bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, 1939 proof date. Original blued finish, walnut stock. The top of the receiver ring is stamped "BUDAPEST/35M". Matching number on the buttplate. Other parts including the bolt are not numbered. No import markings found. The metal finish shows wear and thinning to patina overall. The wood has dings and dents overall but no cracks or other damage. The bore shows wear to the rifling and is dark in the grooves., s/n B451xx |
