| 16 Gauge; fair bore, good stock, 29.5'' barrel, Manufactured C.1891. Browned damascus barrels, casehardened frame and lockplates, walnut stock with checkered round knob grip. 2 9/16" chambers with Full and Open chokes. Simple English scroll and game scene engraving on frame and lockplates. Concave matted barrel rib with brass bead sight. 14" LOP with the original steel buttplate. Metal has turned mixed patina overall with some spotting. Barrels have small ding and dents on both sides. Stock has a pinned and screwed repair to a break on the right side between the upper tang and top of lockplate. Actions function fine, barrel lockup is good. Bores have corrosion and pitting throughout. Antique., s/n 245xx |
