| 22 Long Rifle; 75% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 25.25'' barrel, Manufactured 1943-1951. Single shot bolt action rifle with heavy barrel. Original blue finish, mounted in a checkered beechwood stock. Round barrel with fixed front sight, elevation adjustable rear sight indexed for 20-200 meters. Front sight blade is a replacement. Incorrect bolt from a 255 series rifle, these rifles originally had a turned down bolt handle. Used, the metal has spotting and minor pitting mainly on the right side of the barrel. The stock and buttplate are chipped at the toe. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 193xx |
