| 8mm Mauser; 70% blue, fair bore, fair stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1947. FN 98 military style action. Original blue finish, mounted in a checkered beechwood stock. Ramped fixed front sight with replacement blade, fixed rear sight. Receiver drilled and tapped for side and top mounts, stock nothced for the side mount. Bolt handle has been rewelded, not a good job. Shroud safety lever has a notch cut. Missing lower sling swivel and plastic grip cap. Buttplate and stock chipped at the toe. Wood has been varnished with areas of checkering darkened. Worn metal finish. Mechanically fine. Bores rifling is strong, showing darkness and rust throughout. C&R/FFL, s/n 511xx |
