| 8mm Mauser; 75% blue, good bore, poor stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1949. FN commercial 98 Mauser action. Original blue finish, receiver has been painted black. Checkered beechwood stock. Ramped fixed front sight, elevation adjustable rear sight. Receiver drilled and tapped with Weaver style two piece bases installed. A Bushnell banner 4X scope is mounted. The scope has a pointer/fine crosshair reticle with excellent optics. A right side mounted tang safety has been installed, bolt safety removed. Used, the stock has a crack behind the upper tang. The stock toe has cracks on both sides, and the buttplate is broken at the toe., A steel moose head inlay added to right side of stock and a previous owners name stamped on the bottom of the butt. Mechanically fine. The bore has been greased. C&R/FFL, s/n 1096xx |
