| 8mm Mauser; 80% blue, good bore, poor stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1945. Small ring Mauser "strengthened" action without thumb recess on the left side. Original blue finish, mounted in a checkered walnut stock. Ramped fixed front and fixed rear sights. Receiver has been drilled and tapped with Weaver style scope bases installed. Bolt handle modified for scope clearance, shroud safety filed down. A right side mounted tang safety has been installed. Used, wear to the metal finish. The stock has a crack behind the receiver tang which runs down the right side, with a screw added for repair. Glue residue and remnants of a cheekrest on the right side of the butt. Several "kill" tacs on the bottom of the stock. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 826xx |
