| 8mm Mauser; 90% blue, very good bore, fair stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1947. FN 98 Mauser military style action. Original blue finish, checkered beechwood stock. Ramped fixed front sight with replacement blade, rear barrel sight removed. Receiver drilled and tapped with Weaver #35 front and #55 rear scope bases installed. Bolt handle modified for scope clearance with safety removed and hole plugged, stock notched for the handle on right side. Right side mounted tang safety installed. Used, the stock has a crack behind the receiver tang. Previous owner carved initials and numbers on bottom of forend. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 514xx |
